“I started off my career doing door to door sales which was either make or break and put me on the path to a great career in sales and recruitment. My first step into recruitment was in temporary construction recruitment which was challenging to say the least. I then made the natural transition into white collar specialising in planning engineers within civil engineering and construction in which I built up my own very successful desk within a 12 month period. From here I transitioned to the other side and took my hand to internal recruitment for DPD where built a lot of experience and knowledge of the parcel industry. Managing the recruitment for multiple depots definitely improved my time management skills in a short space of time. After being made redundant I was fortunate enough to take some time off to spend with my son who is 2 years old and I must admit I loved every minute of it.

On a personal note my biggest personal achievement was cycling from London to Paris in four days having never been on a bike for longer than an hour at a time. This was a massive challenge however got the Eiffell Tower after 5 punctures on first two days and raised over £3000 for the Click Sargent charity.

That takes me to M4, I was approached regarding an opportunity as Branch Manager at Heathrow. After my initial interview with Calvin the Regional Manager and the director Jamie there was no question as to what my answer would be. M4 recruitment has a very friendly atmosphere and a management style which gives you the autonomy to succeed in your own way with the support and guidance of a great team.  Recruitment is a very challenging and rewarding industry however the fast paced environment and constant roller-coaster is what keeps me interested. I am really excited about growing the team at Heathrow and getting the branch to the heights I know it can reach.”
