I started with M4 Recruitment in July 2020 with little experience in accounting, but I was given an incredible opportunity to learn on the job. Since then, I’ve gained valuable knowledge and skills that have helped me thrive in my role. After returning from maternity leave, I also joined the Payroll team and now enjoy the variety and balance that comes with working across both areas.

When I first joined M4, I had just moved to the area and wasn’t sure what to expect—especially with limited background in accounts. But from day one, I’ve genuinely enjoyed coming to work, and that’s thanks not only to the role itself but to the hardworking, supportive team around me. After a year off to be with my son, returning to work has been a really positive experience, and I love that I’m still learning and growing every day.

I’ll always be incredibly grateful to M4 Recruitment for throwing me a lifeline after I was made redundant during COVID and for taking a chance on me.
